a couple who knows about giving....

Howard and Helen Veldhorst from Oostburg have rung the bells for The Salvation Army for 10 years. This day, winds were a biting 5 degrees and sunny, they took on a 4 hour shift. Sometimes together and then giving each other a break, they ring the bells to bring in vital funds needed to support programs for their Sheboygan less fortunate neighbors. As of December 1, the kettles have brought in $41,414. The Christmas kettle goal is $200,000.
